Ordering Custom Cakes

How far in advance do I need to order a custom cake?

We recommend placing your custom cake order ideally at least 7–10 days in advance. For large or highly detailed cakes (wedding cakes, tiered cakes, sculpted designs), please allow 2–4 weeks notice. Last-minute orders may be accommodated depending on availability — please contact us to check.

How does the ordering process work?

Simply reach out to us with your event date, cake size, flavour preferences, and any design inspiration. We'll confirm availability, discuss the details, and send you a quote. A deposit is required to secure your order.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes. A 100$ non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your order date. The remaining balance is due 1 month ahead of your event date . Deposits can be paid online or by e-transfer.

Can I make changes to my order after placing it?

Minor changes (flavour, colour adjustments) can usually be accommodated up to 5 days before your event. Design changes requested less than 5 days before may not be possible and could affect pricing. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to make changes.

What customization options are available?

We offer a wide range of customization including cake flavours, fillings, frosting types, colours, fondant decorations, edible images, and hand-painted designs. Share your vision with us and we'll do our best to bring it to life!

What sizes are available?

We offer cakes in a variety of sizes to suit any gathering — from 4" mini cakes for 2–4 people up to multi-tiered cakes for 100+ guests. We'll recommend the right size based on your guest count during the ordering process.

Delivery & Pickup

Do you offer delivery?

Yes! We offer local delivery within our delivery area. Delivery fees vary based on distance. Please see our Shipping & Delivery page for full details on delivery zones and fees.

What areas do you deliver to?

We currently deliver within a set radius of our location. Contact us to confirm whether we deliver to your area. 

Can I pick up my order instead?

Absolutely! Local pickup at a mutually convenient location available by appointment. You'll receive pickup instructions with your order confirmation. Please ensure someone is available to receive the cake carefully — we recommend having a flat, stable surface in your vehicle.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Please refer to our Return & Refund Policy for full cancellation terms. In general, deposits are non-refundable, but we will do our best to reschedule your order if given sufficient notice.

Ingredients & Allergens

What allergens are present in your products?

Our products are made in a kitchen that handles wheat (gluten), eggs, dairy, soy, and tree nuts. Cross-contamination is possible. We are not a nut-free or allergen-free facility. Please inform us of any allergies when placing your order so we can advise you appropriately.

Do you offer gluten-free or vegan options?

We offer select gluten-free and vegan-friendly options. Please ask us when placing your order. Note that while we take precautions, our kitchen is not certified gluten-free, so these options may not be suitable for those with severe allergies or celiac disease.

Can I see a full ingredient list for my cake?

Yes! We're happy to provide a full ingredient list for your specific order upon request. Just ask when you place your order or contact us before your event.

Storage & Shelf Life

How should I store my cake?

Most of our cakes should be stored in the refrigerator and brought to room temperature for 2 hours  before serving for the best flavour and texture. Fondant cakes should be stored at room temperature in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight — do not refrigerate fondant cakes unless instructed.

How long will my cake stay fresh?

Our cakes are best enjoyed within 2–3 days of pickup or delivery. Cupcakes and smaller items are best consumed within 1–2 days. Always keep your cake covered to prevent it from drying out.

Can I freeze my cake?

Yes, most of our cakes freeze well. Wrap individual slices tightly in plastic wrap and place in an airtight container. Frozen cake can be kept for up to 1 month. Thaw in the refrigerator overnight before serving.
