At 23sweets, every order is made with love and care — and we want to make sure it arrives just as perfectly as it left our kitchen. Here's everything you need to know about how we deliver.

📍 Local Delivery & Pickup (Ottawa / National Capital Region)

We offer local and Ottawa area delivery and pickup options for customers in the Ottawa and National Capital Region (NCR).

  • Pickup: Available by appointment. You'll receive a confirmation with pickup details after your order is placed.
  • Local Delivery: We deliver within the Ottawa/NCR area. Delivery windows are confirmed at the time of order. A delivery fee may apply depending on your location.

🚚 Courier Shipping (Canada)

For customers outside the Ottawa area, we ship select non-perishable items via expedited or express courier.

  • Carrier: Loomis or equivalent express courier
  • Typical transit time: 1–3 business days within Ontario; 2–5 business days for other provinces
  • Packaging: Orders are carefully packed to arrive in perfect condition

⚠️ Please note: Custom cakes and perishable items are only available for local delivery or pickup. They cannot be shipped via courier.

🇺🇸 Shipping to the United States

We do ship select non-perishable items to the US! Here's what to expect:

  • Carrier: DHL EXPRESS
  • Typical transit time: 3–7 business days
  • Duties & taxes: US orders may be subject to customs duties and import taxes, which are the responsibility of the recipient
  • Currency: US orders are charged in USD at checkout

⏰ Lead Times for Custom Cakes & Event Orders

Our custom cakes are made fresh to order and require advance notice. Please plan ahead! Reach out to us for RUSH ORDERS, we may be able to pull an "all nighter" to help you out in a  pinch!

  • Standard custom cakes: Minimum 5–7 business days notice required
  • Wedding & large event cakes: Minimum 2–4 weeks notice recommended
  • Holiday & peak season orders: We book up quickly — order as early as possible

Rush orders may be accommodated depending on availability. Contact us to check.

💡 Tip: Once you place your order, we'll confirm your pickup or delivery date directly with you.

📧 Digital Products

Some of our products are delivered digitally (such as recipe downloads or printable designs).

  • Digital products are sent to your email address on file after your order is confirmed
  • Delivery is typically within a few minutes to a few hours of purchase
  • Check your spam or junk folder if you don't see it right away
